We are seeking a passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive, modern and multi-vet practice based in Birmingham on a full-time basis.
You will be joining a stable, experienced team of 8 Veterinary surgeons dealing with routine consultations, surgery and looking after in-patients on a rota basis. Ideally we are looking for a friendly Vet to join the close knit team with full support available.
The practice is modern coming off the back of a full refurbishment, they have equipment including: X-ray, Dental X-ray, Ultrasound and an in-house lab. The practice is spacious with 4 consultation rooms, 2 theatres, large prep area, separate dog and cat ward and a reception area.
You will be joining an 8 Vet practice with support from 7 Veterinary Nurses, 3 SVN's and 3 ANA. They have certificate holders within the group and those working towards certificates. If you're looking to start a certificate in the future this practice certainly will able to offer the support, funding and cases loads to complete this.
Ideally were looking for an all-rounder with great communication, medicine and surgical skills, although we are happy to take on someone with less experience who is willing to learn and improve.
The standard week is 4.5days between 9am- 6pm/7pm depending on your shift pattern. There is additional branch cover required. We are open on Saturdays, and you will take part in the shared rota currently working two out of six Saturdays (8.45am-5pm).
