The Role
Avon Lodge Vets are looking for a dynamic, small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their hardworking team! You will have a varied caseload covering both first opinion consulting, and surgery.
The rota will include working 40 hours per week over 4 days. There will also be 1 in 4 Saturdays and no out-of-hours. If you are interested in joining us on a part-time basis, we are happy to be flexible and work together to find a rota that would work.
The salary will be up to £65,000 depending on experience.
About Us
We are based in South East Bristol with good commute routes to our main practice. Our practice has all the usual equipment as well as separate cattery and kennels for our day patients.
Currently we have 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a dedicated Reception Team who are supported by our Practice Director and Senior Vet.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a warm, friendly Veterinary Surgeon who would like to offer care that fits with our ethos. The successful candidate will be capable and confident in all routine surgery and medical cases. We are looking for someone with great communication skills - both with clients and the rest of the team. There is very much the opportunity to develop the role to suit you, we encourage CPD and for you to develop your own areas of interest.
