We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive, progressive team on a 12‑month maternity cover contract starting March/April. There is potential for the role to continue beyond the fixed term.
This is a busy first‑opinion environment with a strong clinical team, excellent nursing support and a varied caseload. The practice keeps many work‑ups in house, supported by visiting specialists and a high proportion of insured clients. There will be a small amount of charge on some evenings and Saturdays, with support available when needed.
The team offers flexibility around rota patterns, with options such as late starts, longer lunch breaks, split shifts and different combinations of days per week. The role can also be tailored to suit your clinical interests, whether surgical, consult‑focused or mixed.
About You
We are looking for a vet with ideally 2–3 years’ experience, confident with routine presentations and committed to delivering high standards of patient and client care. A positive, collaborative approach and interest in developing your skills further would be welcomed.
What’s on Offer
- Salary up to £60,000–£70,000 DOE (FTE)
- Full‑time role (40 hours), 4 or 5 days per week
- 1 in 4 Saturdays
