This role is a 1-year fixed-term contract starting March/April, with the genuine possibility of a permanent position following the contract. The Role: Clinical Freedom & Support
You will be joining a busy first-opinion team that prides itself on high-quality care and a close-knit, friendly atmosphere.
- The Team: Owned by a hands-on Vet and two RVNs, the practice boasts a strong RVN-to-Vet ratio. The nurses are highly competent, handling Schedule 3 procedures and consults, allowing you to focus on complex case work-ups.
- The Caseload: With a high rate of insured clients and visiting specialists (Orthopaedics/Cardiology), most work-ups stay in-house.
- The Support: You’ll have clinical freedom but never be "on your own", and OOH is fully outsourced.
The Rota: Tailored to Your Life
Work-life balance is a core value here. The practice is happy to tailor a rota to fit your out-of-work commitments:
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours) across 4 or 5 days.
- Flexibility: Options for late starts, longer lunch breaks, or split shifts.
- Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturdays only. No OOH and no Sundays.
- Interests: Whether you have a surgical bias or prefer a consult-only role, they can adapt the position to suit your clinical passions.
