Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon seeking a permanent role in South Wales. This independent small animal veterinary practice with a dedicated team offers high-quality care and is now expanding services to include Out of Hours care for clients.
You will be working alongside experienced vets and a friendly, professional nursing team all of whom are committed to providing the best possible care for pets and their owners as well as a collaborative and supportive working environment.
The practice is well-equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including the Examion X-R Classic + X-DR XL Integrated Generator, In-house Idexx laboratory for fast and cost-effective test results, High-tech diagnostic imaging, including full digital x-rays and dental x-rays, Advanced surgical setup for various procedures such as neutering, dental surgeries, and soft tissue surgeries along with modern anaesthesia and monitoring equipment.
The successful candidate will preferably have a minimum of 2 years UK-based veterinary experience and comfortable with sole charge responsibilities.
This is a permanent role working 7 nights on, 5 nights off and includes Saturday and Sunday days with 14 consecutive days off after the rota cycle. There will be an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse working alongside during the night shifts.
