fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a standalone, independent small animal practice in the Stoke / Cheshire region. The Practice This is a light, spacious, well‑equipped standalone surgery with:
- Digital x‑ray
- Ultrasound
- Blood pressure monitoring
- In‑house laboratory
The practice is proudly independent and led by an experienced RVN with a strong background in surgery, radiography and wound management. The team is friendly, supportive and close‑knit, with regular team days out and a genuinely positive culture.
The practice is also recognised as an Autism Friendly Surgery, reflecting its commitment to inclusivity for both colleagues and clients.
The Team You will be joining:
- 3 Vets (2 FTE), including two highly experienced vets and one recent graduate with an interest in exotics
- 3 RVNs
- 1 SVN
- 2 Receptionists
The team works collaboratively, with clinical freedom encouraged and development fully supported.
The Role Full‑time or part‑time hours are available, with flexibility around the rota. Ideally the practice is looking for cover on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, but this is open to discussion.
- Saturdays: 1 in 4, mornings only (09:00–12:00)
- No Sundays
- No out‑of‑hours
You will have full clinical freedom and the opportunity to develop your interests, with support for CPD and certificates.
Location The practice is situated in the wider Stoke / Cheshire area, surrounded by countryside, with excellent transport links to nearby towns and major cities. Whether you prefer rural living or easy access to urban amenities, the area offers a great balance and strong connectivity.

- RCVS‑registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Competent in medicine and routine surgical procedures
- Friendly, proactive and team‑focused
