JR is seeking a veterinary surgeon to join our clients friendly team on a Full or Part Time basis where you will usually be based at one site, however some flexibility to support other sites when needed may be necessary. Our client carries out their own OOH care for in-patients therefore the successful candidate will be expected to take part in a Rota to provide this care. The emergency overnight OOH is shared between the dedicated night vet and local practice because everyone on the team takes part in this means the Rota has less impact on work life balance for all. Each site is fully equipped for diagnostics and surgery, allowing you to offer all patients and clients the best level of care. All in-patient care and overnight hospitalisation is carried out at a local surgery which provides 24 hour on site RVN nursing care. You will be fully supported whilst working alongside a large clinical team and the experienced RVN team. These clinics also offer referrals in behavioral and dermatology for patients. Our client can be flexible and offer varied weekly hours between 2-4 days a week. However, 40 hours a week are usually over 4 days with 1 of them being an early finish.
