JR is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their client’s team. This clinic is based in a beautiful location with easy access to the coast in all directions. Our client is happy and willing to support the right candidate to relocate whether you are a keen surfer, sailor, runner, cyclist, hiker, horse rider or just an active outdoor person it’s all available within Cornwall! This works well with the great work/life balance that our client can offer. With a large team to support you they are looking for someone with the same team spirit, striving for high clinical standards and providing support to others. For this reason, our client would expect input into the OOH for their in - patients. This will include some nights and weekend work. Because everyone takes part in this it means the rota has less impact on work life balance for all. The emergency overnight OOH is shared between the dedicated night vet and another local practice. Both practices are fully equipped for diagnostics and surgery which allows you to offer the clients the best level of care. All in patient care and overnight hospitalisation is carried out at the local surgery where there is 24 hours on site RVN nursing care. Both sites are RCVS Practice Standards Accredited with awards gained in Client Service, In Patient Service & Diagnostic Services.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time, or Part-Time role with the option of varied weekly hours between two and four days. Full time (40 hours per week) roles are generally four full weekdays with one of those being an early finish. Our client offers a very flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours in order to provide a great work/life balance.
This role offers a salary up to £67,000 DOE (Pro Rata for Part Time) as well as a range of benefits including,
- 6.6 weeks annual leave
- Increasing annual leave based on length of service.
