Predominantly Large Animal Vet Required to join a Friendly, RCVS Accredited Mixed Vet Practice, based in a market town in the North Lakes in Cumbria. The position offers a good mix of dairy, beef and sheep work, plus occasional small animal work approximately 10% mainly on call and weekends. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 year experience is required. Four-day working week, 2 in 5 on-call rota with a long weekend off once every 5 weeks. An interest and enthusiasm in general practice is essential as there is potential for involvement with anything from herd health and preventive medicine to internal medicine and surgery. The practice has all mod cons including ultrasound, digital x-ray and bull breeding soundness equipment. Competitive salary, CPD allowance, company pension & a company car if required.
