We have a part time Vet Surgeon opportunity at a well-established small animal practice in Derbyshire — 15 to 30 hours per week, shaped around you, within a team that clearly gets the balance right.

The Pattern
- 15 to 30 hours per week — full or part days considered
- Ideally to include a Friday
- 1 in 3 Saturdays
- Some sole charge — no out of hours
The Practice
A modern, well-equipped small animal practice with in-house laboratory facilities, silver standard ICC Cat Friendly accreditation and a rabbit friendly ethos. The clinical team is led by an experienced Practice Partner supported by 3 further vets, 5 nurses, 3 client care advisors and a practice administrator. Good transport links with easy access to Nottingham, Burton and the Peak District.
Who they are looking for
A confident small animal vet with solid general surgical and medical skills, a good eye for working up cases and a genuine commitment to high standards of client and patient care. This is a team that values people who bring warmth and positivity to the workplace as much as clinical ability.
