Our client is looking for a Vet Surgeon to join their 4-vet small animal practice in a purpose built, spacious practice in the lovely countryside near the glorious coastline, giving ample opportunity for outdoor pursuits, water sports and access to the nearby towns. This clinic is well equipped with diagnostic, imaging and surgical equipment and fully supported by both the motivated nursing and front of house teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Provide leadership and guidance to the veterinary team.
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions, formulating effective treatment plans.
- Assist in recruiting and training new veterinary staff.
- Manage the performance, budget and overall profitability of the practice.
- Perform a wide range of surgical procedures.
- Prescribe and provide medication.
- Maintain patient’s medical records.
This is a Perm Full Time role and offers a salary up to £70,000 DOE as well as a range of benefits including.
