Does your clinical passion lie in the complex "puzzle" of Internal Medicine? We are looking for a high-calibre Veterinary Surgeon to join the medical heart of a premier East London hospital.
This is a pivotal role within a large-scale hospital environment, providing high-level investigative and diagnostic support to a vast network of over 20 branches. Whether you have already achieved your certificate or are currently in the process of completing one, this role offers the caseload and technology to truly elevate your career.
You will have every tool at your disposal to practice gold-standard medicine:
- Advanced Tech: On-site CT scanner, a commercial-grade laboratory, and a plethora of endoscopy and ultrasound cases.
- Specialist Support: Work alongside experienced surgeons performing advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive procedures.
- The Team: A massive, supportive network of 25 Vets, 27 RVNs, and a full management structure, including a Senior Internal Medicine Vet.
The Role:
- Case Management: Fully investigate complex medical cases using high-end diagnostics (endoscopy, ultrasound, radiography, and blood testing).
- Clinical Standards: Deliver evidence-based care in a fast-paced hospital setting while maintaining a client-centred approach.
- Mentorship: Foster a culture of learning and high morale within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
The Rota & Rewards
- Work-Life Balance: 40 hours per week, typically structured as a 4-day week.
- Rota: A 6-week rotation including 1:3 Saturdays and 1:6 Sundays.
- Salary: £55,000 – £73,000 (DOE) with clear pathways for growth.
- Time Off: 6.6 weeks annual leave (including bank holidays).
- CPD: Annual allowance + paid CPD days.
