Veterinary Surgeon – First Opinion Practice | East London, UK
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE | Full-Time | No OOH
We are recruiting for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, well-equipped first opinion small animal practice in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident vet looking to work up their own cases within a supportive, progressive environment that actively encourages clinical development.
This RCVS-accredited practice is feline friendly (ISFM registered) and is on an exciting journey towards hospital status, making it ideal for a vet who wants to grow their skills and career long term.
The Role
Permanent, full-time position
5 days per week
1 in 3 Saturdays
No out-of-hours or Sunday work
Part-time and job-share applications considered
First opinion small animal caseload with full case continuity
The Practice
You’ll be working in a modern practice with excellent facilities, including:
Digital and dental X-ray
Ultrasonography
Latest in-house laboratory equipment
Separate theatre, imaging and lab suites
Dedicated dog, cat and isolation wards
You’ll also be supported by an experienced Head Veterinary Surgeon with over 15 years’ experience, alongside a motivated and collaborative clinical team.
Salary & Benefits
Salary up to £60,000 per annum (DOE)
5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays (with buy/sell options)
Additional annual leave accrual in first 5 years
Funded CPD with dedicated CPD allowance
