Seeking a New Challenge and Career Development?

We're seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team.

Enjoy flexible working arrangements, comprehensive support for career growth, and a nurturing environment that prioritizes work-life balance. Competitive salary package with generous benefits included. Work alongside 3 certificate holders ( cardiology, surgery and ophthalmology)

The Haven Veterinary Group is a 2-site practice in beautiful East Yorkshire with one site situated close to the busy city centre of Hull, and the other in a lovely village just on the outskirts giving you a great mix of rural and city life. We are RCVS accredited to General Practice standard for Small Animal, Farm and Equine and an ISFM Silver accredited cat friendly practice.

We are looking for someone to join our large, but close-knit team of 12 vets, 5 RVNs, 4 SVNs, 2 VCAs, 2 kennel assistants and 14 receptionists and admin members, including a few star bakers who supply us with endless cakes and treats! Our vets all have different strengths and specialities with a few certificate holders and form a great team that offers a fantastic first opinion service to our growing clientele. Both of our practices are well equipped, and we have a wide and varied caseload, treating all animals of all shapes and sizes making each day an interesting one! Training and mentoring are very important to us, and all career aspirations are actively encouraged and supported. We are a Veterinary Nurse training practice and have a VetGDP adviser and love to support new colleagues at the start of their careers.

A full-time position of up to 40 hours per week plus 1:8 weekends is available although we are more than happy to discuss part-time hours and flexible working as we understand the importance of a good work / life balance. There is no OOH for our small animal work as this is covered by Vets Now. Our main goal is to provide an enjoyable working environment with the perfect work / life balance that we all deserve whilst providing an outstanding service to our patients and their owners. The happiness and wellbeing of our team is the key factor to a successful practice, and we are always working on ways to continue to improve this.
