They are a happy, busy practice offering clients a very high standard of care whilst maintaining a compassionate approach to our work. They strive for excellent patient and client care.
The team consists of 9 vets, 9 qualified nurses supported by trainee nurses and nursing assistants and a great front of house team. Several members of the team are under-taking certificates and they are happy to support any area of interest which will increase the service offering to our patients and clients.
The practice is purpose built with all the usual 'mod-cons' including digital X-ray, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory facilities and separate dog, cat and isolation wards. Recently undergone a full refurbishment which makes for a clean, bright and welcoming place to work.
Clinically they need you to have good medical and surgical skills and a desire to continue to learn and develop. Most importantly they are looking for an individual who cares deeply for their patients, wants to do the best for their clients and who work well within a team. They would consider a consult only vet if that is where your passion lies.
Their primary aim is to find the right person, so there is some flexibility in the working hours. Ideally they would like someone who can work 40 hours per week but can consider part time. The shift patterns tend to be 8-6 or 10-8 (only 1 late shift per week) with 1 weekend (Sat 9-6, Sun 10-4) a month. There is no sole charge work and no out of hours to cover.
In addition to a highly competitive salary up to £80,000 you will receive loads of benefits including however not limited too, generous CPD allowance and support, paid memberships, great clients and lovely colleagues.
