An established, independently owned small animal veterinary practice is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and supportive team.
This is a rare opportunity to join a truly independent clinic that prioritises patient care, clinical autonomy, and team wellbeing over targets and corporate structure. The practice has a long-standing reputation within the community and is built on a continuity-of-care model, enabling vets to develop lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
The Role
This position offers a varied and rewarding caseload, including consultations, surgery, and dentistry. The role includes some sole charge responsibility and would suit a vet who is confident working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.

About the Practice

The team consists of experienced veterinary surgeons, skilled registered veterinary nurses, and dedicated support staff who work collaboratively to deliver high standards of care. The practice strongly encourages nurse utilisation and supports ongoing professional development for all team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months’ UK veterinary experience preferred
- Comfortable with routine procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
