An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon with a surgical bias to join an RCVS accredited hospital in Essex. This role is suited to a surgical certificate holder or a vet with proven surgical ability, experience with laparoscopic surgery is desirable. You will see a full surgical caseload to include a range of orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. You will be responsible for coordinating surgery within the hospital and branches and providing surgical support and training to the clinical team. This is a permanent full time position working 41 hours per week over 4 or 5 days. Weekend emergency overlap service on a 1 in 6 rota working Saturday 14:00 – 17:00 and Sundays 08:00 – 17:00. The practice is a host practice for an external OOH provider so no OOH required. You will see an interesting and varied caseload working alongside an experienced team. The practice is well located on mainline to London and with 30 minutes of Stanstead airport. On offer is a competitive salary, dependent on experience.
