Our client, based near Chelmsford in Essex, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
- Small animal practice
- Full time 4 days a week 8:30am-6:30pm
- No OOH required
- 1:4 Saturday morning clinic working required

Our client is seeking a new Vet Surgeon to join their team - of 5 surgeons, 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 2 reception staff – on a full-time basis, at their practice located near Chelmsford. The surgery is close to a train station, but maintains a typical English countryside atmosphere.
The practice is well-established in the local community, with excellent facilities: Idexx lab suite, digital x-rays, ultrasound facilities, dental equipment. With a team of experienced vets, who have additional areas of special interest, this practice has strong links with several specialist referral centres.
The role will involve routine small animal veterinary work with blocks of consulting and routine soft tissue surgeries, dentals, as well as diagnostic procedures. This role would suit someone with an interest in surgery; the practice would cover the costs of pursuing a surgery certificate.
