Salary: £65,000 Per Annum (Pro-Rata) + Profit Share Bonus Scheme

Job Overview

An independent and growing small animal veterinary practice in Cheltenham is seeking a motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join its experienced and supportive team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working up cases, delivering high-quality care, and being part of a collaborative practice that values high standards, continuity of care, and professional satisfaction.

The practice is independent, forward-thinking, and continuing to develop in response to opportunities within the profession. Administrative and operational support is well established, allowing vets to focus on patient care.

The Veterinary Team

The veterinary team consists of experienced staff with a broad range of interests, including surgery, medicine, and diagnostic imaging. The practice encourages collaboration, shared learning, and open discussion of cases, creating a positive and supportive environment.

The Practice & Facilities

The practice offers a wide range of diagnostic and surgical services and is well equipped with advanced technology, including CT imaging and ultrasound. Visiting specialist surgeons are used where appropriate, allowing continuity of care while providing opportunities for in-house learning and skill development.

An external out-of-hours provider is used, meaning there is no on-call requirement. In selected cases, nursing staff may provide inpatient care to ensure excellent continuity for patients and clients.
