Independent Small Animal Practice | Flexible Working | No OOH
Are you an experienced small animal Vet looking to join a genuinely independent practice in South West London? This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established, owner-run clinic - known for its calm environment, loyal client base and high clinical standards.
This role offers flexibility, autonomy and the chance to practise high-quality medicine in a supportive, collaborative team.
The Role
- As an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work closely with the Principal Vet and an experienced nursing team in a modern, well-equipped setting.
- Ideally 4 days per week (flexible for the right candidate)
- 1:3 Saturday mornings
- No out-of-hours
- Full-time or part-time considered
- Surgical-biased desired to complement Principal Vet's medicine bias
You’ll be trusted to manage cases confidently, build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued development of the practice. There’s real scope to shape the role around your interests — whether that’s surgery, diagnostics, imaging or expanding clinical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-standard first-opinion small animal care
- Consult, diagnose and manage medical and surgical cases
- Perform routine and more advanced surgical procedures
- Provide clear, compassionate client communication
- Work collaboratively with RVNs and support staff
- Contribute to clinical standards and team development

- An experienced GP Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident in routine surgery and medical case management
- Strong communication skills and client focus
