Are you an AVP, a Surgical Certificate holder, or a Senior Surgeon looking for a role that moves beyond routine GP work? JR Veterinary is seeking a Surgical Lead to spearhead advanced surgical services for a prestigious, family-owned independent group across Greater London.

This is a newly created, high-impact position designed for a clinician who thrives on variety and wants to manage a significant orthopaedic and complex soft tissue caseload without the corporate red tape.

The Role: Clinical Leadership & Excellence

As the Surgical Lead, you will be the primary point of contact for advanced procedures across three modern surgeries in the London area.

• Specialist Caseload: With over 12,000 active clients, there is a massive ready-made caseload for in-house orthopaedics and complex soft tissue work, with the scope to accept external referrals.
• Strategic Input: Help shape this brand-new role, mentoring teams and elevating clinical standards across multiple sites.
• State-of-the-Art Environment: Work in spacious, purpose-built surgeries equipped with the latest diagnostic and surgical technology designed for both patient comfort and clinician wellbeing.
• Balanced Workflow: While surgically biased, the role includes targeted consultations to build your own caseload and conduct post-op checks, with dedicated daily admin time built into your schedule.

The Location & Rota

• Accessibility: All sites are within 30–45 minutes of Central London via excellent transport links.
• Flexibility: This is a full-time role, but we are open to discussing flexible arrangements for the right candidate.
• Travel: You will rotate between three key sites, requiring a surgeon who is adaptable and enjoys a change of scenery.
