We are recruiting a friendly and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent small animal practice in North-East Manchester. This is a part-time opportunity within a close-knit, supportive team, with the option to pick up additional cover during holiday periods if desired.
The Practice
This is a long-standing, client-focused practice with a strong emphasis on continuity of care and a relaxed, welcoming working environment. The team is supported by experienced nurses and support staff, allowing clinicians to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
The practice is well equipped, with modern facilities including digital and dental radiography, ultrasound and a fully equipped in-house laboratory.
The Role
- Part-time position (days and hours negotiable)
- Small animal caseload only
- No out-of-hours or weekend work
- Excellent work–life balance
- Sole charge confidence required, with support from an experienced team
The Ideal Candidate
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Confident with routine consultations, general surgery and diagnostics
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Comfortable working independently within a supportive team environment
