A fast growing, bright and airy small animal practice in Hampshire has a vacancy for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their talented team. The team is led by an Advanced Practitioner in small animal surgery who holds certificates in emergency medicine and surgery and soft tissue/orthopaedic surgery CertAVP (GSAS) together with a degree in Zoology. The rest of the team consists of a full time veterinary surgeon, 3 highly experienced RVNs, 1 student nurse and 3 receptionists. The ideal candidate will have solid all round GP skills with an interest in ultrasonography or medicine being advantageous but not compulsory. Also, the practice does have orthopaedic equipment on site and are open to investing in further equipment, depending on the vets’ skills sets and interests. The candidate will be confident working occasional sole charge and have top notch communication/team playing abilities. This is a full time role with Saturday mornings on a rota but no OOH. Shorter hours could be considered for the right candidate.
