We are working with a well-established, independent small animal practice in Hampshire who are looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis. This role would suit a vet with at least 6 months’ UK experience who is confident with routine procedures such as neutering and is keen to continue developing their skills within a supportive team environment.
The practice has built a strong local reputation for providing high-quality, compassionate care and places a real emphasis on client relationships and continuity of care. The role offers flexibility, with hours available between 25 and 38 per week, making it suitable for both full-time and part-time vets. There are no out-of-hours requirements, supporting an excellent work-life balance. Competitive Salary DOE.
Role details:
• Permanent Veterinary Surgeon position
• 25–38 hours per week (negotiable)
• One Saturday morning in four, working until 12pm
• No OOH
• Small animal caseload
• Confident with neutering required, with support available to teach and develop other areas
The team and practice:
• Currently a team of 4 vets, with plans to expand to 5
• Supportive nursing team made up of 4 qualified nurses and 1 trainee
• RCVS accredited practice
• Well-equipped with modern facilities and a strong emphasis on clinical standards
