I am currently working with a growing practice in Hampshire who are recruiting for a vet who is passionate about internal medicine.

We practice are currently working towards achieving RCVS Hospital status, and expanding their premises to include three operating theatres, a separate dental suite, an isolation unit, and a dedicated space for a future CT scanner. They have recently invested in a full laparoscopic surgical suite, giving the team access to advanced tools to provide the best care.
About the Role
The practice are looking for an exceptional vet with an interest in internal medicine to join us. We’d love it if you bring a certificate or Advanced Practitioner status and are ready to hit the ground running and make a real impact in your chosen speciality, however we will happily invest in certificates for motivated individuals.
Team
The team is currently made up of 14 vets who highly experienced and supportive, with a broad range of clinical interests, including multiple certificate holders and advanced practitioners. Within the team, several vets hold or are working towards postgraduate certificates in small animal surgery, medicine, cardiology, ophthalmology, and emergency and critical care, while others bring extensive experience in general practice, dentistry, behavioural cases, inpatient care, and the management of complex medical and emergency patients. This collaborative approach allows the practice to provide continuity of care while drawing on individual expertise when needed.
The vets are supported bu fantastic nursing team of 12 RVNs, performing Schedule 3 procedures, leads surgical and inpatient care, and also provide invaluable support across the practice. Alongside them, our eleven-strong client care teams ensure smooth day-to-day operations and an exceptional client experience.

The rota
Full-time vets work a 4-day week, with a set day off each week, and an early finish 4 out of 5 weeks. Operating and consulting duties are shared, giving you time to develop your skills across all areas of practice. Lunch breaks are protected and admin time is set each day so you can catch up on paperwork, make calls, and leave on time.
Weekends are currently on a 1:5 rota (Saturday and Sunday 8 am–7 pm) with time off in lieu, and the schedule is organised so you have two long weekends in each 5-week cycle. As the team grows, the practice plan to introduce shorter daytime shifts and schedule two vets to work each weekend.
We offer:
- A salary of £40,000 to £75,000 depending on experience
