An exciting locum placement has opened for a Mixed Vet to support a welcoming practice on the Isle of Wight, starting from late November 2026 for a few months.
Role & Schedule Details:
- Start Date: Late November 2026
- Duration: Initial placement for a few months
- Working Pattern: Standard 4-day week (08:30 – 18:00 with a 1-hour lunch break); fewer working days per week can also be considered based on preference
- Caseload Mix: Approximately 70% small animal and 30% farm/large animal work (combining consultations and surgical operations)
- Out of Hours (OOH): 1 in 4 large animal OOH back-up on call to assist and mentor a new graduate mixed vet
- Accommodation: Accommodation is available close to the practice site
