We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Senior Locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide reliable cover for a leading independent practice in the desirable Kent region.
This is a high-autonomy, sole-charge role ideal for a confident clinician ready to hit the ground running and provide critical leadership support.
The Assignment: High Autonomy & Excellent Rate
- Day Rate: Highly competitive, ranging from £500 to £600 (depending on experience).
- Schedule: Consistent cover needed 4 to 5 days per week.
- Hours: Standard shifts are 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Weekends: Requires covering the occasional Saturday.
- Practice Environment: You will be the sole vet in charge during your shifts, working alongside a dedicated nursing team. You will support the current rotation of three vets and the Head Vet.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven surgical and medical proficiency with the confidence to handle a busy, varied caseload independently.
- Leadership: Must be capable of managing the clinical floor autonomously during shifts.
