We’re working with a well-established, forward-thinking small animal group in Kent who are looking to welcome a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to their friendly and experienced team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet who enjoys varied GP work, values team collaboration, and is keen to develop their clinical interests within a supportive environment. There’s also a unique chance to play a key role in growing and shaping one of the branch practices.

The Role

• Full-time or part-time considered (minimum 20 hours per week)
• Fridays essential!
• 1 in 3 Saturdays (consults only) with time off in lieu
• No out-of-hours
• Mix of consulting and surgical duties with excellent case continuity
• Opportunity for occasional sole charge

The Practice

This long-established group has been serving the Medway community for over 40 years and now operates across multiple well-equipped sites. Each branch offers modern clinical facilities, allowing for a high standard of first opinion care without always needing to refer externally.

You’ll be primarily based between two sites, with the opportunity to support the continued development of one branch as it grows back into a fully operational clinic.

The wider team includes:

• 11 Veterinary Surgeons
• 14 RVNs + support team
• Dedicated client care teams across all sites

You’ll be joining a practice that genuinely prioritises teamwork, clinical standards, and staff wellbeing.

Based in the Medway Towns, you’ll enjoy the perfect blend of countryside, coast, and city access. With high-speed links to London in under 45 minutes, plus beautiful local walks, historic surroundings, and vibrant communities, it’s an ideal location for work-life balance.

What We’re Looking For

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Ideally 3+ years UK small animal experience
• Confident with a varied GP caseload
• Comfortable with some sole charge
• A proactive, team-focused approach
• Interest in CPD, clinical development, or community work is a bonus
