Who They Are
This is a well‑established, RCVS‑accredited small animal practice operating across multiple sites in Kent, including access to a centrally located hospital with 24‑hour inpatient support. The practices are equipped with surgical suites, dental radiography, digital radiography, ultrasound, in‑house laboratory facilities, and a range of diagnostic tools to support thorough case work‑ups.
The team includes experienced veterinary surgeons with interests in surgery, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia, dentistry and dermatology, supported by registered veterinary nurses who run nurse consultations and support procedural workflows. The practices maintain a collaborative, organised working environment, with strong operational planning and an active focus on professional development.
What You’ll Do
- Provide first‑opinion consultations, surgical procedures and medical work‑ups across a varied caseload.
- Work a structured rota of 40 hours over four days with 1 in 5 Saturdays (08:30–16:30), with flexibility available.
- Undertake a mix of consulting, operational shifts and occasional sole charge when required.
- Option to spend one day per week at the hospital site to develop skills further or follow clinical interests.
- Communicate clearly with clients, ensuring treatment plans are tailored, evidence‑based and aligned with patient needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple sites to support continuity of care.
