We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients team as a full-time Clinical Director!
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the small animal side of their practice near Strathaven, working alongside the practice manager and supported by the farm and equine clinical directors, as well as the area director and support manager. As the small animal clinical lead, you will consult with clients, perform surgeries, and support the team to achieve best practices and deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Up to £75,600 DOE, plus a relocation allowance up to £2,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the small animal side of the practice
- Consult with clients and perform surgeries
- Support the team to achieve best practices and deliver the best outcomes for patients
- Oversee the financial performance of the small animal side of the practice and support the team to reach their intended goals
You would be joining a large, multidisciplinary team comprising 3 Clinical Directors, 15 clinical Vets, 5 Vets solely undertaking export work, and strong Nursing and Reception support from 10 Registered Veterinary Nurses/Veterinary Care Assistants and 9 Receptionists. They also take part in community events, like the annual local raft race, fostering team spirit and camaraderie.
