Our clients are currently looking for two new vets to join their dynamic team based in Lancashire.
The team believe in:
-treating clients with kindness and consideration, offering the care they would want for their own animals,
-working in a busy, friendly atmosphere involving all the different practice teams,
- supporting newer members of the profession encouraging skill development (five of their senior vets are qualified as vet GDP advisors)
-striving to provide the best and most current treatments for patients.
The practice offers a very varied medical and surgical caseload with excellent facilities including seven consulting rooms and a dedicated bereavement room, two operating theatres, separate dental, x-ray and diagnostic rooms, five wards, ultrasonography, digital x-ray, endoscopy, hydrotherapy and k-laser.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and caring vet who enjoys the buzz of being part of a busy team. The position will include participation in the 1 in 4 weekend on call rota with generous time off in lieu. They are happy to support new graduates at the start of their career. Whilst they are ideally looking for a new full time member of the veterinary team they would be open to discussions from more experienced candidates who may be looking for a part time position and are happy to participate in some aspect of the out of hours rota
The salary would be discussed on an individual basis depending on experience and the hours worked. They pay RCVS fees, have a staff discount scheme and pay overtime. They have a generous CPD allowance including funding towards certificate studies.
