JR is seeking an experienced soft tissue/orthopaedic vet surgeon to join their client’s team and whom may be aspired to build their own caseload within a new 24-hour practice. You will play a vital role within the practice by supporting the development of surgical skills within the team. You will be provided with the latest technology including an x-ray room with digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, tonometer and orthopaedic equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for.
- Managing the Orthopaedic caseload including fractures, TPLOs ad Complex soft tissue surgeries
- Support routine Surgery/Dentals
- Support the team by helping to develop skills.
- Provide exceptional client care.
- Maintain and observe the highest standards of operational and practice compliance.
You will be required to be/have.
- RCVS registered Vet Surgeon
- Team Player
- Willing to mentor and offer guidance to other surgeons within the practice.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Be a positive example to others.
- Extensive experience in small animal surgery including ability to perform TPLO/TTAs or equivalent, fracture repair and complex soft tissue (e.g. perineal urethrostomy, TECA, BOAS)
This is a Full Time, Permanent role working 4 days per week with 1:6 weekends and a Salary up to £75,000 DOE as well as a range of benefits including,
