Are you an enthusiastic Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a supportive and progressive team?
Chine House Veterinary Hospital is a friendly, RCVS-accredited hospital based in Sileby, Leicestershire. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care and operating our own dedicated out-of-hours service.
Our purpose-built hospital is equipped with:
- Six operating theatres
- Multiple consulting rooms
- Separate cat, dog, and exotic wards
- In-house laboratory
- Digital radiography
- Modern diagnostic and surgical facilities
We have a team of 11 veterinary surgeons supported by 20+ experienced and qualified nurses, creating a collaborative environment where clinical excellence and professional development are encouraged.
The Role
We would welcome applications from both new graduates and experienced veterinary surgeons. With a highly experienced team and excellent clinical support, we can tailor the role to suit your level of experience and career aspirations.
Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered, and we are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.

We are also happy to consider a part-time consulting-only role.
Working Pattern
- Full-time, permanent position
- Four-day working week
- Weekend rota of approximately 1 in 8
- Approximately one night per week on the out-of-hours rota
Career Development
We have the caseload, equipment, and clinical support to help vets pursue further qualifications and certificates.
Our team includes:
- An Exotics Diplomate
- An experienced Surgery Certificate Holder
We actively support continued professional development and encourage vets to develop their clinical interests.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: £35,000 to £60,000 per year, depending on experience.
