What You’ll Do
- Deliver first‑opinion consultations, preventative care, and medical work‑ups across a varied caseload.
- Perform routine soft‑tissue surgeries, with support available to broaden your surgical capabilities.
- Provide evidence‑based clinical care, ensuring appropriate diagnostics, treatment planning, and documentation.
- Contribute to the management of sick and injured pets, balancing clinical need with practical, welfare‑led decision‑making.
- Communicate clearly with clients, explaining treatment options, consent, and follow‑up plans.
- Collaborate with the wider veterinary, nursing, and client‑care teams to maintain smooth clinical workflow.
- Participate in the rota including 1 in 4 weekends, within a 39‑hour weekly schedule.

What They Need From You
RCVS Registration – eligibility to practise as a Veterinary Surgeon in the UK.
