We are working on behalf of a well-established, multi-vet practice in Lincolnshire that is seeking a Surgical Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive and skilled team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinary surgeon with a passion for surgery who is keen to take the lead in a practice known for its varied caseload and excellent facilities. The role is based in a large, central practice featuring four consult rooms, a dedicated surgical theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopic equipment, and comprehensive in-house lab facilities.
About the Role:
- Lead on surgical cases, including non-routine surgeries.
- Work closely with the established nursing and clinical team, supported by an experienced Lead Vet, Practice Manager, and HRVN.
- Full-time, permanent position working four days per week.
- Weekend rota: 1:3 half or 1:6 Saturdays, no out-of-hours commitment.
- Relocation support is available for candidates moving more than 60 miles within the UK or from overseas.

The Ideal Candidate:
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
- Confident and experienced in a range of surgical procedures.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Able to provide clinical leadership and support to the wider team.
- Experience supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures.
- Collaborative, with excellent communication and coaching skills.
Role Accountabilities:
- Deliver clinical excellence in both consultations and surgical procedures.
- Create accurate and tailored treatment plans with clear cost estimates.
- Provide professional and compassionate client communication.
- Support and mentor colleagues, sharing best practice and driving clinical standards.
- Ensure effective clinical handover and continuity of care.
- Actively contribute to the clinical development of the practice.
