My client is looking for a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly, supportive and ambitious team in Merseyside. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career.
The role offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time hours considered, a 1:4 Saturday rota, and no out-of-hours requirements.
The team you’ll be joining is experienced, close-knit and genuinely passionate about providing excellent care. Their nursing colleagues bring over 40 years of combined experience across first opinion, referral and charity settings, while the client care team offers two decades of customer service expertise within veterinary medicine. Ongoing development is encouraged through both in-house and external CPD, creating a collaborative, growth-focused environment where you’ll be supported clinically and as a developing leader.
The ideal candidate will feel confident across all aspects of small animal first opinion work, including routine surgery and medicine. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach are essential. An interest in surgery, or a desire to develop surgical skills further, would be particularly welcomed. A clear career pathway is available, including funded CPD and support for certificates.
The practice is situated in Merseyside and has free parking and great access to shops, cafés and restaurants. The surrounding area offers a mix of community events, culture and green spaces, with excellent transport links to Liverpool, Chester, Manchester and the wider region — giving you easy access to both vibrant city life and beautiful countryside.
