Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Small Animal Vet to join our client’s vibrant two-practice team located in Liverpool with the flexibility to work from only one site, if preferred. Their well-established practices provide a stimulating environment offering a wide range of both consults and surgical operations. You will be granted full clinical autonomy to make decisions that best serve the needs of clients and their pets.
There is room for a consult only vet too if needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations of small animals.
- Perform routine and complex surgical procedures.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with pet owners.
- Provide preventative care advice and administer vaccinations.
- Maintain up-to-date client records and manage case follow-ups.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinarians and nursing staff.
- Engage in ongoing learning and professional development activities.
Work Hours and Benefits:
- Full-time work comprising 35 hours per week, typically 9am to 6:30pm, including ample time for administrative tasks.
- Flexible scheduling options allowing for a condensed 3 or 4-day workweek.
- One weekend duty every three weeks. No Out of Hours commitments.
- Work alongside a supportive team of 4 vets and 8 nursing staff members.
- Generous 6.6 weeks of annual leave plus an additional day off to celebrate your birthday.

Qualifications:
- A Veterinary Degree (BVSc, BVM, DVM, or equivalent) with eligibility to practice in the UK.
- Demonstrated experience in small animal practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish trust with clients.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality care and maintaining professional standards.
