Experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
Location: Uplands Way Vets
Hours: 36 hours over 4 days (Monday-Friday) No OOH or weekends
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident clinician who enjoys delivering high-quality patient care, building strong client relationships, and working collaboratively within a supportive practice environment.
About the Role
As an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical and surgical care to a varied small animal caseload. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical interests while working alongside a skilled team of veterinary surgeons, RVNs, student nurses, and support staff.
The role includes:
- Consulting and case work-ups
- Routine and advanced surgery
- Diagnostic investigations
- Inpatient care and case management
- Working closely with clients to provide excellent communication and continuity of care
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced colleagues where appropriate
What are we looking for?
We would love to hear from candidates who:
- Are MRCVS registered
- Have previous experience in UK small animal practice
- Are confident with routine surgical and medical cases
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team

We are a modern, forward-thinking veterinary clinic based on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a friendly, supportive team. Our practice prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care alongside excellent client service in a welcoming and professional environment.
