Our client is looking for an experienced Clinical Lead/Vet to join their established and friendly team. This practice is located in a lovely city surrounded by countryside and just 30 minutes from the beach. The city offers an amazing array of shops for those that enjoy their retail therapy with views of a wonderful cathedral and some beautiful architecture that is well worth visiting. This is a purpose-built practice, with all the equipment you would need including a brand-new ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, tonometry, slit lamp, multi-parameter units for both theatres and a full in-house lab. You will receive support and development from this highly experienced team to guide you in your transition to leadership. Partnership prospects may become available for the right candidate in the future.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Lead the team in managing a varied caseload
- Be responsible and accountable for the entire veterinary team
- Deliver first class clinical care
- Responsible and confident dealing with management absence
- Cover gaps in Vet Rota and cover if no other is available
- Confidently administer high level veterinary care and monitor the progress of the patient
- Prioritise emergency actions to stabilise and prevent patient discomfort
- Interact effectively with nursing team
- Confidence in all routine and non-routine consultations
This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours a week.
