Are you an experienced surgeon ready to step into a leadership role within an independent clinical community? JR Veterinary is proud to represent a high-standard, community-focused practice in North London seeking a Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead their clinical team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate vet who loves to consult and build lasting client relationships, while also having the drive to mentor colleagues and shape the clinical standards of a thriving local clinic.
The Role: Leadership with a Personal Touch
As the Head Vet, you will be the clinical heart of the practice. You will work within a fun, supportive environment where colleagues truly care for one another and the community they serve.
- Clinical Excellence: Lead by example in delivering high-level evidence-based care and advanced work-ups.
- Team Mentorship: Support and develop a team of Vets and RVNs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high morale.
- Advanced Support: While you will lead a dedicated local team, you benefit from being part of a wider community with access to advanced surgery, 24/7 inpatient care, and CT diagnostics.
- Autonomy: Manage your caseload with the support of a highly skilled nursing team, allowing you the time to develop comprehensive care plans.
What We’re Offering
- Financial: Competitive salary starting from £60,000 (commensurate with experience).
