We are working with a client based just to the north of Northampton, to recruit an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their small animal practice. You will be joining a friendly, team-focused, family feel clinic.
This is a full-time position however job share and part-time would be considered. You would be working 2-4 weekdays with 1:4 Saturdays. No OOH or on call!
You will need to be confident with all routine medical and surgical cases, though workload/days can be tailored to your interests. You will be joining an established team with variety of individual interests including Feline Medicine certificate holder, vets with special interest in dermatology and surgery, nurses with interests in rabbits, exotics and feline nursing certificates. Individual interests are encouraged and supported, and certificates are fully funded.
This role will allow you to see a wide variety of cases, both medical and surgical, and you will be encouraged to take your time to thoroughly investigate and follow cases through - case continuity is key. Sick pet consultations scheduled for 20 mins.
The practice is well equipped with digital radiography, Doppler ultrasound, capnography, tonopen, blood pressure monitoring and ECG.
