Our client is seeking an ongoing locum Vet Surgeon for their practice near Northampton.
- Ongoing requirement from March to July 2024 – maternity cover
- Small animal practice
- Full time: 36 - 40hrs per week over 4 or 5 days
- 1 in 4 weekends
- No OOH required, no on call
- Accommodation available: above the practice and exclusive use
The Practice
This independent surgery is located near Northampton and is seeking an ongoing locum Vet Surgeon from March to July 2024 for maternity cover.
They are a 4 FTE vet practice, who place a very high emphasis on client delight, aiming to ensure clients see the same vet on every visit.
Opening times:
- Monday to Friday: 8am – 6.30pm
- Saturday: 9am – 3pm
- Sundays 10am – 3pm
Role Accountabilities
You will be a strong, self-sufficient individual, capable of working independently and of providing leadership and guidance to the veterinary team by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Your duties will include routine consultations, operations, fulfilling prescription requests, and answering client queries by email and on the phone.
You will have a passion for delivering clinic healthcare excellence to ensure that your clients and their pets receive the very highest standard care. Everyone is usually insured and there is plenty of opportunity to provide the highest level of care to their loyal client base.
