A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join a professional and personable team at a small animal practice located in a beautiful market town in Northamptonshire.
You will be part of a fully supportive team that are dedicated to their clients and patients. You will work alongside a supportive Lead Veterinary Surgeon and Head Nurse as well as a nursing team.
As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. You’ll be competent in clinical examination and surgery and confident working as part of the wider team.
The Role
- The role is working 4 days per week plus 1 in 3 Saturdays or 1 in 6 full weekends
Salary and Benefits
- Salary package up to £65000 depending on experience
- 5 weeks' annual leave
- 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)
- Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay
- £1,500 CPD Allowance plus 3 days CPD leave (FTE)
- RCVS, BVA and VDS fees paid
Skills and Experience
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience
