Our client has an exciting opportunity for a qualified vet to join their brand-new, state-of-the-art, 24-hour hospital within a historic market town in central England. This location offers a vibrant town centre, excellent schools, and top tier sporting facilities, making it an attractive place to live and work. The town is well connected, with trains taking less than an hour to reach London or Birmingham. It's also close to scenic countryside and country parks, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.
This is a modern, purpose-designed practice and provides brand-new, cutting-edge facilities designed by and for vets. This hospital was created to meet the increasing demand after outgrowing their previous location. You will be working alongside a supportive and collaborative team which comprises over 80 people, with a supportive and well-established nursing team. Many of the staff have grown with the practice, progressing from roles such as ACA, VCA, or SVN to more senior positions, providing you with the benefits of a strong collaborative environment and a supportive network when challenges arise.
The hospital is equipped with modern veterinary technology, including CT scanners, digital X-ray, endoscopy, laparoscopy kit, sterile theatre, piped gas, and ultrasound. The focus is also on ensuring excellent welfare facilities for the team, contributing to a positive work environment.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a hospital environment have completed your Veterinary Graduate Development Programme, indicating you have the required experience to handle hospital-level cases.
This is a permanent, full-time role. However, our client is happy to consider a part-time role for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences. There are also no OOH duties – enabling you to have a great work/life balance.
