Our clients practices are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to assist with their growing caseload. Situated in Norwich, these large small animal first opinion practices handle a diverse range of cases, including orthopaedics, ophthalmology, and dental referrals.
There are vacancies for Veterinary Surgeons at each of the Norwich practices.
The team comprises supportive and experienced professionals, with certificate holders in surgery and ophthalmology, as well as Vets studying for certificates. Notably, one of the Vets has recently completed a certificate in dentistry. The practice is well-equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, tonometry, slit lamp, gonioscope, orthopaedic kit, and full in-house lab facilities.
Operating within a busy practice, Veterinary Surgeons enjoy a varied caseload and the autonomy to work up cases in-house. Continuous improvement is fostered through regular clinical meetings, journal clubs, and CPD opportunities. The practice prioritizes work-life balance and mental health support, with the appointment of a mental health first aider and adherence to the BVA good workplace guide. Consultation times are designed to allow for thorough patient care and administrative tasks.
The benefits package includes a competitive salary range of £34,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience), flexible rota options, and full-time or part-time positions. The full-time role offers a 4-day week with a consistent day off each week and a 1 in 5 weekend rota, with no out-of-hours work required.
