JR is looking for a passionate and adventurous Veterinary Surgeon to join their client’s practice on an 18-month fixed-term contract, offering an extraordinary opportunity to work in the captivating Zoo/Exotics field, along with using your skills working with Farm and Small animals this can be a great and varied caseload. With state-of-the-art facilities and a dynamic team this well-equipped practice boasts cutting-edge tools such as ultrasound with Doppler and ECG, digital DR Xray, dental Xray, video endoscopy, and a full internal lab.
While prior Zoo experience is not essential, the successful candidate will require excellent communication and organisational skills amongst other responsibilities including consultations, small and large animal surgical (and minor) procedures, creating treatment plans and visits, OV work, Sole Charge work and Out Of Hours work.
This role is an 18 Month Fixed Term contract. Monday – Friday 8.30am – 6/7pm with 2:6 OOH weekends and 1 weekday OOH Rota. Additional Saturdays morning shifts 8.30am – 12pm. However, our client can offer flexible working patterns to the right candidate to achieve the perfect work/life balance.
This role offers a salary of up to £63,000 DOE plus a range of benefits including,
