Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Full Time or Part Time
Independent, Family-Run Practice | No OOH | North Nottinghamshire
We’re working with a well-established, independent and family-run small animal practice in North Nottinghamshire that is known locally for its high standards of patient care and genuinely supportive team culture.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Small Animal Vet looking to join a close-knit, friendly practice that values continuity of care, clinical freedom and work–life balance. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, with flexibility around working patterns for the right candidate.
The Role
You’ll be joining a welcoming and experienced team, providing high-quality first-opinion care to a loyal client base. The practice encourages thorough case work-ups and prides itself on delivering personalised, compassionate care to both pets and owners.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering excellent clinical care to small animal patients
Consulting, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical and surgical cases
Building strong relationships with clients through clear, empathetic communication
Working collaboratively with nurses and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintaining high clinical and professional standards across the practice
Facilities & Support
Modern, well-equipped practice
Digital x-ray
In-house laboratory and blood testing
Fully equipped operating theatre
Supportive team environment with experienced colleagues on hand
Working Pattern
Full-time or part-time considered
No out-of-hours work
1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9:30am – 12:00pm)

About You
RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
Small animal experience preferred (all experience levels considered)
