Veterinary Surgeon – Busy Clinic nr. Mansfield
Salary up to £60,000 DOE | No OOH | 35-hour week | Certificate support
We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team at a well-established small animal practice in the Mansfield area.
About the Practice
You’ll be working alongside a team of 4 vets, 7 RVNs, 4 CCAs, a Practice Manager, and regular students. The team are enthusiastic teachers and enjoy mentoring colleagues at all stages of their careers.
The practice is modern and well-equipped, including:
- Full in-house laboratory
- Digital radiography
- High-tech ultrasound with cardiac probe
- ECG and tonopen
- Fantastic nursing support
The Role
- 35 hours per week with a fixed regular day off
- 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am–5pm)
- No OOH
- Routine surgery experience required; minimal sole charge
- Advanced skills or certificates welcome (salary uplift available)
- Excellent clinical support available for non-routine cases
