As a Veterinary Surgeon at McPhersons vets, you will see a varied caseload with a good mix of surgical and medical cases. About Us
McPhersons Vets is a small animal, first opinion practice based in the Nottinghamshire village of Rainworth. We are a spacious and well-equipped site with a in house lab facilities, ultrasound, diagnostics and digital Xray. We have a friendly, dedicated team with an array of experience levels, and we are now looking to welcome an additional, motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join our great team. Our team is composed of 4 vets, 3 RVNS and 3 SVNs. We have a certificate holder is small animal surgery, one of our nurses holds a certificate in schedule 3 surgical procedures and we also have a nurse that has the advanced programme vet nursing qualification for small mammals.
The Rota
A full time role would involve working 40 hours per week over a 4 day week. Shifts will be 09:00 – 18:30 with 1:4 Saturdays (09:00 – 13:00) consults only. There are no out of hours or on call duties for this role. However, as stated above we can offer complete flexibility with shifts & hours per week. Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated Veterinary Surgeon who can thrive in our small but exceptional practice. We are looking for an individual who is confident, friendly and professional who demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. You will be RCVS registered with experience in a similar small animal setting and have a passion to deliver excellent service to patients and clients alike.
