JR Veterinary is recruiting on behalf of a brand-new small animal clinic opening in May 2026 on the northern Gold Coast. This is an exceptional opportunity for a veterinarian who wants more than just a job — someone ready to contribute to the culture, clinical standards and long-term direction of a practice being built from the ground up.

Full time and part time opportunities are available, and for the right candidate there is a clear pathway into a Clinical Lead position.

Completely refurbished and purpose-built for quality veterinary care, this clinic opens with modern equipment, efficient workflows and systems designed to allow time for proper case work-ups and genuine continuity of care.

A central focus of the clinic model is a proactive wellness programme — building long-term client relationships, supporting preventative care and enabling vets to manage cases proactively rather than reactively. This leads to better patient outcomes, stronger client trust and more professionally satisfying clinical work.

The Role

We are looking for veterinarians who are genuinely excited by the opportunity to help build something new. Day to day, you will:

• Deliver high quality companion animal medicine and surgery
• Contribute to the development of clinical standards and workflows
• Support the implementation of wellness-based care programmes
• Build strong, long-term client relationships
• Work collaboratively with a newly formed veterinary and nursing team

For experienced vets with a leadership interest, this role offers a clear pathway into a Clinical Lead position — with involvement in mentoring, clinical decision making and shaping the direction of the clinic.
